Welcome to dido’s fine food

I’m Dido and I have always had a love and passion for food! Growing up, food was a reason to celebrate – on special occasions my family home would be filled with beautiful home cooked meals and elaborately laid tables, whether that was for a birthday or an anniversary celebration.

I have a wealth of experience and undertook culinary training at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, an award-winning cookery school based in London.  From there, I went on to working at the wonderful Le Caprice restaurant in London for three years, then the Bleeding Heart where I was a Junior Sous Chef, before returning back to the Caprice Group again, this time working for Daphne’s. I had a desire to take everything I had learned from my time in London and create my own catering and food consultancy company back in Thame, Oxfordshire, creating dido’s fine foods!  dido’s fine foods offers everything from Private Chef services through to event catering.

More recently I have launched  dido’s @ home, a weekly menu which is delivered to local Oxfordshire homes, that uses seasonal vegetables and local produce to produce a delicious, restaurant quality, three course menu. The meals only need to be assembled and heated to be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.
