It was wonderful working with Dido for two events. From our initial discussion she was able to craft two wonderful menus which suited each event perfectly. The food was prepared with care and absolutely delicious. The Grilled Nectarine, mozzarella and basil tapenade canapé was a favourite, however all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the rare roast fillet of beef, which was cooked to perfection.
Many thanks indeed - your lunch yesterday was delicious and I have never seen so many clean plates! The beef was particularly good, very tender and with a lovely flavour. We ordered from dido's fine food for a birthday surprise for my mother in law. The service and delivery was so well organised. We had the beef wellington and it melted in your mouth, the entire meal was wonderful!
Father’s Day dinner in Lockdown could have merged into all the other days, until I ordered our dinner from Dido's Fine Food. My husband enjoyed the beef fillet, roast potatoes and roast Cauliflower and pomegranate main that our children chose from the variety of menus Dido offered. The children's favourite, was the very generous chocolate roulade with fresh berries. The meal turned what could have been a normal Sunday dinner, into a very special and memorable day.
Dido's food is excellent and her service is second to none. I have used her on a number of occasions for small intimate meals and larger parties. She will listen to the brief, make suggestions and always delivers mouth watering food. I would recommend her without hesitation.
Organising a 40th birthday celebration for a foodie was a challenge. With Dido’s inspiration, planning, preparation and delivery, there was a consensus of “Perfect!”. Ask about the canapés, the lobster in a butter sauce and steak, with portabello mushrooms, never mind the frites. And the pud? Ask Dido! A triumph! Whose birthday’s next?

We had a memorable wedding anniversary this year. Despite the lockdown, we had a great meal at home courtesy of dido’s fine food. I was missing Asian food like Thai or Malaysian so asked Dido what she could magic up. The result was a stupendous Thai Green Curry which was full of flavour with a lovely taste of lemon grass and very generous portions. Dessert was a delicious Chocolate roulade which was absolutely divine and disappeared very quickly. Highly recommended❤️ .
My first experience of a Lock-Down birthday was made really special by Dido's wonderful cuisine. The quality was superb, with really easy-to-follow instructions for heating-up items, and the quantities were more than generous. Dido recently cooked a three course meal at my home for my birthday. It was perfectly organised with suggestions to the menu and tweaks to suit our various tastes and dietary requirements! Dido was an absolute delight to have at our home, completely professional and even tidying up at the end with no dishes for us to wash! Our guests commented on how lovely the food was. I would highly recommend.
We had so many compliments about the food- a great variety of interesting dishes, something for everyone, so fresh for a summer party and beautifully presented. The time you spent before the event was so helpful and reassuring, making the effort to come and visit and ensuring that you had a clear idea of exactly what we were looking for. At the party itself, everything was so easy, you preempted what we needed and when, attended to all our guests in a friendly and discrete way and meant that my parents (the guests of honour) and I could just get on and enjoy ourselves!
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the most delicious cake. It was as ever wonderful and totally delicious and everyone loved it. The meringues all went and Olive could not stop eating them and said next time could you make a 1000. All in all a great success and thank you!

Omg - you absolutely legend in the kitchen!!! We cannot thank you enough for the spectacular food, honestly it was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Totally divine and delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. My only problem is I didn't take any photos of the food! We were so delighted and have had the most wonderful feedback... you haven't seen the last of us that is for sure! Hope the kitchen worked ok for you and you weren't put off by my guests (and me) popping in. Just wonderful - I haven't got enough superlatives!

So lucky to have Dido’s Fine Food supply all the food for our Golden Wedding celebration. Hot meals with hot and cold desserts cooked to perfection. Everyone at the celebration said how delicious it all was and how much they enjoyed it. She is a chef extraordinaire and would recommend her to anyone.
We had Dido for my 21st drinks and canapés at my Oxford College and then she came back to the same spot to cater for my daughters christening 16 years later! We were completely thrilled with the food and service she and her team provided, and so pleased we asked her to cater for us again. The food was delicious - lovely ingredients, beautifully presented and super tasty. Dido was also great at all the to-ing and fro-ing beforehand and handling my many questions and requests. The staff on the day were top notch - very professional, friendly and efficient. I also thought that it was very good value for money indeed.
